News and social activity

Put recent activity in its proper context

Company news and selected public person activity can add timing and a new research angle. Queast keeps each observation bounded by its source and date, then lets analysis determine how much weight it deserves.

Dated account context

Notice change without mistaking it for proof

Supported company news can appear with the account and recency visible. This gives the seller a starting point for investigation without turning the item into a buying conclusion.

Separate evidence lanes

Company context and person context are not interchangeable

Each observation stays attached to the level it can support. Company activity does not silently become a claim about an individual, and a public post does not establish an account-wide project.

Authority boundaries

Follow the evidence forward

A single article or post is an observation. It cannot activate an intent or create an Actionable Signal by itself.

  1. 01

    Observe

Record the available company or author, source reference, and publication context.

  2. 02

    Contextualize

Connect the item to relevant account or person research without treating it as a conclusion.

  3. 03

    Analyse over time

Related evidence may contribute to a time-aware Composite Intent only when combined with other evidence across runs.

  4. 04

    Recommend carefully

An Actionable Signal still requires the applicable evidence, eligibility, capability, freshness, and conflict checks.

Context, not certainty

Keep the unanswered questions visible

An article or post can strengthen a view, add timing, or suggest a discovery question. It does not automatically prove any of the following.

  • Buying project

That a current purchase process exists

  • Ownership

That the person owns the topic or decision

  • Budget or urgency

That funds or a deadline have been confirmed

  • Admitted pain

That the person has described a problem

  • Prior relationship

That outreach may imply familiarity or permission

Use recency with purpose

Carry only supported context into preparation

News and social context can inform research and reviewable preparation. It remains supporting evidence, not an automated verdict or autonomous action.
